Why is Ego using tricks to postpone or cancel our self-development?
How our fears undermine our need and desire to ask for more?
Why did it take me so long to realise I was just enough to be an MCC?
I want to share with you some exciting news! My new certification as an MCC coach is now a living reality! But during the process, many times tested my faith in so many ways!
Βecoming an MCC was my personal colossal dream ever since I’ve started studying to be a professional life coach, 12 years ago. The moment I realized I had all the prerequisites to apply for the certification, I beat the fear that my Ego projected to halt and waste the time of trying to follow the challenging path. My mentor coach guided me wisely to follow a structured approach and realize it was only fear keeping me from applying sooner. The whole ‘lack of hours’ and the whole ‘lack of time’ to dig up coaching hours over the past six years were just big excuses and pretentious lies.
Whenever something big comes our way, even excited, we try to postpone it because we are afraid it won’t be as we’ve imagined, or we won’t meet its standards. But to make our wishes turn to reality, there is no other way than work and action.
Our ego voice will always tell us that we’re not enough, either true or not. They only way to find out is to TRY! This is the core competency our students and graduates of both Greek and International GAC are trained to practice in the professional and private path (learn more about the Greek GAC here: https://www.universaltraining.edu.gr/akadimaiki-metekpaideysi/life-coaching and find out how to enlist into the International GAC’s dynamo here: https://www.globalacademyofcoaching.com/)
Becoming a master certified coach and being in the elite 3% of the coaches globally who have this certification, it’s such a big thing for me. My MCC title is now my new Now it’s your turn to think where are you holding yourself back? Where are you letting fear projections? Where are you making up excuses only to feel secure and settled? Each decision you make to evolve, each book you read (kindly vote for our best-seller “Suddenly Now” in the Public Book Awards 2020 by clicking here: www.publicbookawards.gr), each seminar that gets your motors running again is an excellent step away from your comfort zone (what a better way to make a great start this Fall by joining our free online Masterclass “How to upgrade your career, have a prosperous life and create more time” on 31st August: https://jillandnikolas.com/workshops/seminaria/masterclass/).
Nothing worthy of fighting for is all rosy. Like almost everything in life, nothing is given away unless you try with your soul.
