CareerLifeWhen to leave the comfort of your steady job and become a full-time Life Coach?

June 19, 2021by Jill Douka

When will you know the time is right?

Which characteristics should your studying program have?

What does it take to try this leap of faith?

This question often troubles our mind; I can embrace it wholeheartedly. It’s not easy to go from what you once knew to a whole different and new level of experience. In fact, it can be intimidating! Below you’ll find the two key elements that you need to help you know for sure you can turn the new page of your coaching life:

I assure you: you’ll know that you are ready to take this leap of faith of creating your new life once you reach the point of “enough is enough” concerning your past one. Once you contact one of our GAC ambassadors for a complimentary Strategic Career Coaching session by filling in the form here and you’ll know for sure if professional coaching is your thing, or you are not quite there yet.

In my case, I’ve reached my limits in the corporate world. I wished I had less money but more happiness in my life. For me, the corporate life wasn’t just right, and my guts were telling me that this feeling couldn’t be put into question.

I was done.

So there are two critical points that will help you understand when your transition time is perfect:

1) Finding a supportive environment, will help you build the confidence required to

take this huge next step and embrace change! Your coaching school is the first source of this kind of support. This is what we do in the Global Academy of Coaching. We instruct our students to start coaching from the first month to study and practice coaching at the same time, resulting in elevating their trust in what they do!

2) After you finish your studies, you should operate within a community that enhances life coaching. This is also what we do in the Global Academy of Coaching. We create this supporting community in which you feel safe and proud both for your wins and defeats. If you don’t have this kind of support, you’ll find it challenging to sustain balance by developing your professional and personal life.

Be very careful that your business building group is focused on developing you also as

a person because coaching firstly creates leaders and then life coaches. You can’t nurture coaching skills if they don’t come from within from a solid and strong leading personality.

And once you’ve set out for the coaching adventure, make sure to trust the coaching school to provide both of these fundamental characteristics mentioned above.

So take this massive leap of faith! I promise you; it’s a most rewarding one!

There are different types of learning methods and everyone should search thoroughly before choosing the program that suits best for him/her. I feel blessed that I am a part of the Global Academy of Coaching Graduates because it is a training program that is

in balance with my core values, expands my skills and supports me in fulfilling my life’s purpose.
